I have the Oakley Radarlocks too - fantastic glasses and I too think buy quality and you wont have to buy again (unless you lose them or run them over). I got the Cavendish Ltd edition ones which come with green chromatic ones for when its sunny but they also come with a red lens too which is great on cloudy days - also used it at night too without much issue. Great glasses which I would highly recommend.

Visited a lbs yesterday to look at some Rudy specs but they were low on stock. They said they were having a delivery next week so will have to wait a little longer.Ah well, more time to pick over which one to buy.

I just use two cheap Endura pairs - one normal sunglasses, the other clear.

Hate when it rains and I have to take them off (well, usually the clear ones when it rains!) as I notice the difference, especially if it's windy.

Wouldn't say they're the sturdiest or best made, but at £12 each, you get what you pay for. They've both been on the go for a year and are fine.

my mate once had some glasses that had the same stuff on them that eagles have on their eyes that protect them from sunlight. They weren't cycle specs (for driving) but they were yellow. I tried them on and the clarity was amazing.
My friend had those and they were amazing.

I like yellow on grey days, it kinda cheers everywhere up :-)
Yebbut, it's a double-edged sword. I remember taking my yellow sunglasses off at the top of the Beacon on a FNRttC. I was amazed at all the lovely colours of the landscape and the sunrise that I was missing because of my sunglasses.

I'd love to get some prescription photochromic cycling glasses, but they seem pretty expensive/hard to find.

I have taken a liking to two Rudy specs but has anyone used the red lenses and how do they fare?

Red, so you can say you didn't see the traffic lights.

I would imagine they perform like other red cast lenses - in my experience great on cloudy and low light days, unless they just have the chromatic colour on the outer and then they're just sunglasses that look red.
