I just asked at my local optician's when I went for an eye test

They found several possibilities for prescription lens
some had just proper lens and some had normal curved glass and then prescription inserts behind them - which apparently some people are fine with but others can;t cope with or find annoying

worth asking - but watch the price!!

I ride with cheap wrap arounds that have clear inserts in them. They are RockBros brand and came with 5 different coloured front screens. I took the insert to Specsavers and had a bifocal adaption made (about £35 if my memory serves me correctly). It took a little while to get used to having the insert almost touching my eyelids but I don't even notice them now. For £18+35 they are a bargain and with inserts available for about £5 I won't have to buy a new pair of glasses when my prescription changes (which it tends to do every couple of years).

I just looked at their website - I am not sure how an insert gets onto the glasses
is it something separate
or what?
sorry - just can't imagine how it works
