I'm 'old school'.
I wear Tudor Longs over shorts; and a Racecape over a road jersey over a Marks' thermal vest.

But on my Halfords boneshaker, I wear Adidas Tracksuit trousers over shorts; and Belstaff over road jersey over Marks' thermal vest.

Another vote here for the RonHill Tracksters. Bought them for about £12 from sherunsheruns in manchester a few week ago. Very warm and I also confess to wearing them under jeans and things to keep me warm when not on the bike. They dont look too daft either, they just look like slightly tighter tracksuit bottoms

I bought a cheap waterproof coat from decathlon for about £15 about a year ago. Still going strong and excellent value.

Normally if its cold but dry, I will wear my underarmour base layer (£35) then have a berghaus thin long sleeve top (£30-£40) over it to cover up my man breasts .

Only got one pair of shorts too, and they are just the cheap ones from decathlon for about £7. Had them a while and they are still decent. Padding not too great though
