Cycling cap (or other headgear) for Winter

Cap on top, with a buff pulled up to cover my ears.

I find the peak of a cycling cap very useful for keeping rain/sleet/snow out of my eyes - I miss it if I wear one of the beanie type hats.

I like buffs but also bought a ski type ear warmer some years back cheap off eBay, still have it and use it, best thing I've ever bought, comfy and warm
