Cycling application survey

"Imagine you had been cycling for an hour and you got 15 kilometers away from home. Your tire has just been punctured and you can no longer ride the bike. You have no repair kit to fix it, no idea where to find help and you are too far away from home to walk back.
Would you use application features which allow you to send messages to other app users in radius of 3 kilometers to ask for help or locate the nearest cycling shops and repairs?"

Kick myself for leaving tools at home and phone home for someone to get bike carrier and collect me.

And I'm more than a bit over 30.

If I'm just around town, I might not have it with me.
If going a distance, I make sure I have what I need.
Even if I have to use a small backpack to carry it.

Come on, give the guy a break. I'm spectacularly off the scale in his age categories, and I have a dumb phone that spends 99% of it's pitiful life in a dusty drawer with a flat battery. He just asked for opinions.
