Cyclechat Stickers..........Would you?

Marafi, this is CycleChat, not a lobbying organisation or a profit making business. I bet Admin would love a substantial grant from Govt, but in this reality, enthusiastic support from people who have benefited from the free advice and community on here is more realistic.

I'd be happy to pay (a small amount) for stickers for fork legs or whatever.

It's a nice idea. If i may suggest............a colour on a black background. That way the sticker will look nicer for longer.

how about this for an idea - we find a sticky label that will last for a while. These might come in sheet form. I then prepare a design for the sheet of labels (subject to Shau's approval) and e-mail it as a pdf or whatever, so that we can print ourselves a sheet, take one and hand the rest to our mates?

Well i've ordered the Buff so i might aswell have stickers for bikes and the one car i have.Are we going ahead with the idea ? I would happily pay for them,this site is well worth it for all the banter and new friends i have made.......you know who you are !

I received a couple of sample bike stickers yesterday but nothing on the car sticker yet so I've emailed him to see if he's done any costings yet and I'll update where I'm at when he gets back to me.

Right then. My guy has dropped me off a fair few stickers today, a pile of 'bike' ones, and a pile of larger 'car/where ever you fancy' ones.
I think the simplest thing is to do one large and two small stickers together for £2 posted, what do you think of this? I'm not making anything out of it i can assure you all, there will be a very small margin to put towards the cost of envelopes etc but that's it, and if there did happen to anything left in the pot when the dust settled I'd be happy to send it to Shaun for the sites benefit.
Payment I propose would have to be PayPal gift, then when enough has come in I'll forward payment to the sticker guy who is happy to wait rather than get his money drip fed.
So what do we think guys. Are the 56 Yes voters going to form an orderly queue? Are the nay sayers going to get on board? Where are we going with this.
I've stuck a 'bike' one the seatpost of my Ribble and I'll upload the pic of that later with the others. In the meantime if you have any questions, shout




PS: All this is on the presumption that you are happy with it Shaun. I'd be happy to send you the stickers, but I figure you've enough stuff coming your way with the CC Buffs, so if you're happy, and other CC'ers are happy then I'm happy to handle it.

I want two sets, one for each sus-fork leg of the commuter so people who overtake can see, and one for the seat post of the roadie so people I overtake can see. Fits your seatpost lovely, is that one of the smaller ones, or the big one out of the three... Just wondering if the sus-forks can take a large one each side!
