I just tried to PM Padbeat but was thwarted by the lack of available characters
I'll have a shufty and see what I can come up with, and I might ping Padbeat out of curiosity.
In the meantime if anyone else has any ideas for this shout them up

I think it would be better to show a bike on the left, a car on the right and a double-headed arrow between the 2 with 'Give Cyclists Room' above the arrow and '3+ feet' embedded in it.

Kind of like this:

(Bike) <----- 3+ feet -----> (Car)

I would suggest something more like Colin's idea.

The bike in a triangle symbol on the left, the car in a triangle symbol on the right, and the double headed arrow between them like you've got, only with the "3 feet please" in the middle, like the bottom bit of your first design. The Cyclechat logo incorporation could be smaller across the top or bottom. The main message is the safety one.

I don't really think the CycleChat logo is important and should be got rid of - if you want to include something referencing CC just put a small web address in the corner or something, but if the main message is a safety one then that's what should take precident.
