Cycle shorts

I used to think Id always get laughed at while wearing the lycra. I bought a pair of muddy fox, they just had a foam padding which TBH didn't last 6 weeks, I wore these under my work shorts. One day I got a little brave and decided to ride without the work shorts.
I then bought some Endura shorts. Best bit of clothing I ever bought by far and never leave without them.

Just to clear something up yes I would be a little embarrassed wearing Lycra but It is also not to my liking style wise I have no issues if anyone wants to wear it but I am definitely more a baggy shorts and shirt kind of guy.

Whatever you do, do not wear red or white lycra shorts alone

One colour is very unfortunate from the front, one front and back

I have a pair of Altura MTB shorts, look just like regular shorts but with a detachable padded liner, I wear these if I know I'm visiting people, makes me feel a little less self conscious. Normal lycra shorts for if I'm just riding a short route out and back.

Another vote for Endura Humvee shorts. Inexpensive and include removable, padded liner.
