As long as I breathe, I attack.
I am finding these days the actual moulded shape of chamois can be an issue for me so i am looking for suggestions for bib shorts with a plainer design with less ridges on the pad please .
I will admit my current crop of dhb shorts were a bargain buy but i can never get comfy evn after trying a variety of saddles.

At least in womens, the lower end Pearl Izumi shorts have a smooth pad (Look at Sportpursuit) Possibly cheapo muddy fox or Pinnacle from Sports Direct group? Or Decathlon

I always think the Rapha Classic pad is pretty plain. Castelli pads don't seem to be overly padded either. I've used Assos shorts for the last few years and would definitely say they're on the more padded/ridged side. It's a shame about Assos because they're by far and away the most premium shorts as far as longevity and materials are concerned.

What about buying bibs without a chamois and sewing your own one of choice in ie like we used to do 😉

I say this as i have have often considered this as i often wear the bib shorts out faster than the chamois itself.

linky no worky for me
It'll maybe work without the embed Google search code.
