We have a guy who rides down the cantre of the cycle "portion" and will not deviate for anything.
After a couple of near misses I asked him why and he stated " Well it's illegal to cross the line, so I can't give way!"
TRying to explain that moving to the left hand side of the "lane" would be helpful has falen on deaf ears.
With no choice, signalling and moving on to the "pedestrian side" is the only way to get past him safely, but he gets so irate, yeling at the top of his voice that you are on the wrong side.
