Holdsworth seem to have named their bikes after winds. Cyclone, Zephyr, Whirlwind.

Mine is Mistral. Typhoon was another

Not sure about Red Feather but Carlton often used names starting with a hard or sofr "C"...... Corsa, Circuit, Catalina, Corinthian, Cobra, Courette, Kermesse, Corsair, Clubman and probably a few more.

Can add Criterium, Continental, Cyclone and Corse de Primes to that illustrious 'C' list.

Dawes seem to have got a bit boring with their names at one point in just repeating the name with sports or club added. Some names were Clansman, Tartan. You could also get a Debonair. Later names like Dalesman and Galaxy appear. I think IIRC the Double Blue was eventually replaced by the Galaxy as top of the range model.
