Cycle Computers Some Advice?

I have to admit to never owning one a wireless computer, but I see absolutely no advantage to spending extra money for something which needs extra batteries, is open to interference and has no obvious (to me) advantages. I suppose wrapping a wire around the brake cable like I do could be considered messy and cluttered ( I have wires for the dynamo lights anyway) but beyond that, what is the advantage?

I am using a wired computer just now because I wanted more reliability but one of the advantages of wireless I think, is that loose wires are more attractive to pillocks (vandalism) or may accidently be snagged/ damaged by othe cyclists in sub standards cycle stands but perhaps I'm being paranoid ;)

I can't se any advantage with a wireless computer. I once had one and had nothing but trouble with it everything seems to interfere them. The best thing about wired ones they are a hell of a lot cheaper specially if you get them from the super markets
