Cycle computer - Lidl or Aldi

Aldi have a cycle computer from tomorrow for £6.99 and Lidl have one later on next week also for £6.99. Has anyone bought one in the past and is there much difference between them? No interested in a massive range of functions.

Got the Aldi ones on my wife and sons bike. Been fine for the money.

I have an Aldi one, wired not wireless, on one of my bikes and for a couple of years it has been perfect.

Wired Lidl one on my wife's bike seems to work OK.

I have a wired one and has been fine unless you knock the sensor. Am considering getting a wireless one though just to get rid of the wires which I am paranoid with end up in my wheel!!

FWIW the Count computers at DECATHLON are very good IME.

Dead easy to set up and simple to use.

Bit more money then Aldi/Lidl but IMO worth it

I have had the Aldi one on my hybrid for 3 yrs now works a treat ( it`s the wireless one )

I have an Aldi one can't go wrong for the price or maybe I'm biased for working for them.

I just took off a perfectly good wired Aldi computer to install the wireless one bought yesterday. Sadly the wireless one isn't picking up any signal from the forks sensor/wheel magnet, whatever I do. They've said I can take it back for refund or replacement, which is what I'll do.

I did exact same thing...only I had put fork sensor on upside down which meant it was the wrong way round lol. It has been great since I sorted that! Not that I am saying you're as dizzy as me lol

I have it so the battery cover is facing in towards the wheel with the sensor mark at the bottom. I think that's the right way round!

It was the wrong way round. The ugly battery cover should face outwards with the magnet passing closest to the smooth side. D'oh !
