Never got Terry Prachet, I seemed to read it in a different way to which it was written if that makes sense. None of those fantasy things. TBH not a great deal of what could be considered contemporary popular culture. My tv is current affairs and some cooking shows. Great british menu does alright for me. Listen to the radio mostly, radio 4 and 4 extra for the comedy.

If this is going to be a 'things a lot of the population have done that I haven't ' type thread then I'll confess - the other day I walked past a branch of Next and realised that I've never bought anything from there.

Dont tell anyone, as l will never be able to show myself in polite society, but I have never watched a single eposide of Game of Thrones!
Please can I ask the forum for forgiveness.

I've seen a few bits. My wife is a fan and has watched it from the start. I pop in, sit down for a bit and someone gets killed in a grisly fashion. I wander off. I've not seen any of the Wire, the Shield, Breaking Bad, the West Wing, Lost etc etc either. I don't like serials because I'm not organised enough to watch all the episodes, and don't care enough to catch up so I never know the story.

I did watch The Killing tho. That was good.
