It happens that I quite like the pointless threads on occasion as I have enough serious stuff going on anyway and need the frivolous for my sanity's sake.

So just pick and choose - there are loads of threads.

But mostly - Enjoy yourself

hmm... the theory is, the more pointless threads there are, the more time other people spend on them, and the slower the good threads move. But like you say, I do ignore it and move on. it doesn't really matter that much you're right.
