My LBS, which have a very good reputation, mainly stock Cube.

I've read that buying from a good LBS, and hence getting good after care is possibly more important than what bike you get, so, any comments on Cube road bikes?

I dont have one but really really like them too
This is what has been recently discussed about them

Ive just ordered two, a ladies and gents Cube Curve. Spent ages looking and these came out on top, but don't get them till this week so can't say how they are in the flesh!

My LBS stocks alot of Cubes too. Their race team all ride them and all like them. That said they are all riding the very top end ones with Di2! Even so, a fair few local guys are riding the lower specced models and really rate them. Cube had trouble with their lead times a couple of years ago but I think they're ironed out now.

Many thanks. The obvious choice for me seems the Cube Aerial Triple 2011.

They also stock Giant, and the obvious bike there is the Giant Defy 2 2011

Really nice, very well made bikes. Cube from a good LBS that you trust sounds like a great combination.

Sounds very encouraging. I must admit that haven't been to the shop yet, because its close not to where I currently live, but close to the house I've just bought. I'm thinking ahead! (Cyclezone in Crowthorn)

Cube bikes are stunning looking and with excellent components however, for some reason i have been advised to stay clear due to their frames being of poor quality and this is why they stock with good spec..i personally don't believe this as they are a German company and that cant be bad at all can it, i mean Audi, BMW enuff said...well priced too, look at

all stunners fair play...

My first (adult) bike was a Cube MTB and I absolutely love it!! If I had the money, I would buy a Cube road bike in a heartbeat. Ive never heard a bad word about the bikes (road or MTB) from those that own them and when it comes to looks I think Cube are in a league of their own.

Cube all the way for me, had my Agree GTC Race for a week now, I done the London 2 Brighton with it last week, I've just got back from a wee ride around the North Downs which included both the Catford Hill climb and the handling to me is superb.
Easiest way to find out what other people think of Cube bikes is to Google reviews of the bike you fancy but I dont think your be disappointed if you go down the Cube route.
Good luck with whatever you decide on !!

This all sounds good, and I've read a few positive reviews too. An Agree is out of range money wise, but maybe I could stretch to an Attempt. Maybe...

Need to get down the shop and get test riding!

i like all the agree range especially the GTC SL but thats out of my range and they don't have it in stock so cant have it anyway  the race i find maybe, just maybe be a bit too blue, the GTC pro a bit too red, so i think either the SL or the agree pro, both with excellent groupset and as light as the carbons we'll see by tomorrow anyways, gotta test the GTC pro to see what its gonna be like riding a carbon and then decide to see what the ride is like....
