Crumbling new plaster...

I've Polyfilled it now (screws were pretty tight, but I tightened them a tad more). Thanks for your help.
I shall post an 'after' picture so you can all see the end result.

Often screws not tight enough allowing movement in the board.
Tighten n polyfilla may well do it.
