A seat tube from an old steel frame works, provided you have a tube cutting guide to saw it straight. You use the butted end (BB end) which is usually about 26.6mm ID.
I have one of those too, for pulling in steering head bearing cups. Plus a length of 22mm copper pipe with 4 cuts in one end and the cut ends splayed out, and a large bolt covered with tape to make it a snug fit in pipe with washers attached stuffed up t'other end. Used with a mallet for extracting steering head bearing cups. Plus a length of poly waste pipe for seating crown races.
