They wear some impresive body armour under their gear, google the shorts/pants they wear. Then there knee/elbow/wrist pads can withstand a a hell of a lot. The OHs gum sheild cost 4 times the price of mine, and I'm getting taking elbows etc to the face (and that's just at home). They train in the same hall as my Muay Thai clum, we some times sprint with them, but no chance as those girls are doing around 25mph on them things! And effe that someone taking you down at that speed, not nice.

Not sure how long it's been around, I remember it in Charlie's Angels as a kid so I assume it's been around a while... just it's become the inthing with the Alt-rawk girls
