must be hard for porte, looks like he has legs but doesnt wanna drag anyone back to froome

Looks like he's got bored and has set off after Froome now. No one can go with him. Amazing!

Perfectly timed surge from Porte there to seal that 2nd, part of me thinks he should have won.

Will be interesting to see how it all plays out in the TDF, have SKY shown their tactical hand* or is there more to come?

People were saying the same about Froome and Wiggins last year. It's team discipline. Porte has already got his win. This is now all about propelling Froome to Paris.
True of course. Just seems right to question dropping the jersey like that. Clearly Porte had the legs if tactics reversed.

Nice to see them mixing it up a bit. Makes for more exciting viewing than the reliance on the metronomic trains we saw last year. And even if they do revert to that tactic in the GTs they are going to have one hell of a train. Lopez and Kiriyenka both looking like very good buys

Saw the highlights on ITV4 earlier this evening.

Great riding by Froome and Porte :bicycle: and they both appear happy with the result.

15km on the front by Kiriyenka  - some ride ! :bravo:
