Your upper flange retaining nut is fubared. Unless you replace it with a whitworth 17/16 it'll bear down on the upper graunch channel until the nitroelastomer grommets fall out. If that happens you'll be left with a handful of sprockets and lube all over the shop. If I was you, I'd take a hand full of sawdust and sprinkle it liberally over everything before soaking it all in Duckhams 15/40. Leave it for a day or two then sell it on to an unsuspecting buyer. This always works in the motor trade business, and bikes are so much simpler, so it can't fail. HTH.
