Crank arm bolts too tight?

What, if you grease it? Or if you ride with the crank loose?
Doesn't matter, as it's the softer component in either case - the crank.

Oh. That'll be the crank too. It'll get forced further down the crank than usual. Probably.
Seriously, if it all works and the cranks aren't bashing the chainstays it's probably fine.
