Ribble do their winter frame for £90, brand new!
If keeping it I would cut off the cracked piece, (make sure all the crack is removed) and try and source a seat post clamp that fits the OD of the frame, a bit of bodging may be required, most seatposts only use one bolt for clamping.
Drill a hole through frame and seat post and shove a bolt in, the frames a scrapper so looks is not important and for sure the seat will not drop.
Just remember to set the correct saddle height first.
I was hoping someone would say they had the exact same problem and got it welded by a pal for a tenner and it's been great for the last 7 years because I really liked the frame.
I wouldn't even risk trying it. Potential for very serious injury if that fails while you're giving it the beans.
Exciting is one thing, but potentially lethal quite another!
