cracked rims. cheap or damaged?..

That is just how mine looked. I am actually wondering if disc brakes are contributing to the problem? maybe the forces generated by braking at the hub is pulling the spokes tighter than the rim can stand? What bike/rim/tyre is that? (schwalbe roadcruiser maybe?)
