too hot for me, and still recovering from yesterdays 80 mile dehydration fest!

Rode into town earlyish but alreadytoo fdammed hot. Forgot to take a drink or bottle so bought water as I think the last outdoor drinking fountain in King's Lynn's gone. Been at home a while, running the house in full cooling mode. Abandoned the office because it was over 27°c when I walked in.

Hopefully the wife has a friend coming around tonight, so I can sneak off for 'a recovery ride'. If it all goes wrong, it means she goes out to her friends house and I am in charge of the sleeping kids whilst looking out the window with a tear in my eye.

Problem solved. Baby seat and trailer.

Still goosed from yesterday. Gonna sit in the garden and photograph butterflies.

I was up at 6.30 this morning, went off to the gym for an hour and then twiddled my thumbs for an hour or so waiting until 9am rolled around (reduced amount of cage drivers desperately trying to have me off the bike)
I did a 25 mile round trip on the treader and loved every moment

Will shortly finish a 45miler down here on the coast.

It's been glorious.

Tomorrow may be a rest day

take youngest to pre school
do some washing
hoovering / mpopping
pick kids up from school mrs ck from work ( she does 12 hours a week )
make tea for the family
6.45 pm cycle commute to work for night shift start at 7.45 pm
