How long before Dayvo sees this thread I wonder?

Not easy to reply with the girlfriend hovering!

I was lucky to make it to Sweden! I'd forgotten how lethal pastis is! I could easily have ended up in Switzerland, or even Swaziland, but the gods were on my side!

Fell asleep on the plane and was woken by the waitress stewardess, whom I tried to speak French with!

Aperitif's hospitality was second to none (but should come with a government health warning: beer, pastis, wine, champagne :tongue:). Twas an enjoyable afternoon.

I'm five years younger than Ap, and if you can't see the difference, then I might as well top myself now!

Hope to meet up with a few of you when I'm back in the west-ish country again, before too long! xx(

I have tried to find the photo taken on the Pedal for Scotland thread without success, that photo may provide conclusive evidence of whether Dayvo looks older than Aperitif who is the better looking.:ohmy::biggrin::blush::wacko:

Cinquante-et-un (him) and Vosne Romanée (me I think)

You could buy a bike with a bottle of that! Amazing how some tiny non-descript vineyards in a small village can command some of the most expensive wine prices in the world.

Oz Clarke is the name BoaB the Bilder, and Will - don't buy a bike for that money - buy wine! Nothing 'special' - although it was all in Dayvo's honour. He just happened to stumble upon a mixture of old farts, ex rugby players and nice people all at the same time! I'll post another picture later - after work.
