I want to know more about @classic33 's C15th map.

Where is it of? Does it have dragons and treasure marked on it?

Most of the area has been built over, new buildings, roads, placename spellings changed. But checked/compared against newer, it's easier understand.

Thanks for the reminder @classic33 I really need to get a more up to date map, its a nightmare trying to get from Chester to Liverpool and Manchester. I don't know how the cartographer's keep up with all these new places suddenly appearing?

Interesting map @Grant Fondo, in that it shows Deerhurst on it. Deerhurst is a very tiny place although I do know it has a historically very significant church and I wonder if that is why it is on there. See the Your Bike in Front of a Church thread for a pic of the church, although I suspect you've seen it in the past anyway.

Edit to add, I just had look at the church thread, you have seen the pic, we exchanged a couple of messages about when I posted the pic.
