Here for rides.
All conti tyres are banned from our family stable.
They are just too hard to get on and off.
Tell me what rims you use that I may ban them from my stable. Wherein Conti's slide on and off as a knife through butter. ;)

i use GP4000s find them good stable tyre and have done 3000miles on my set so far only have few cuts and holes on them but only 3 air escapes to date and plenty tread left will prob do me into new year when i will prob buy a new set though at £30 odd each they are a tad pricey!

They can be had sub-£30  They are relatively expensive, but not unduly.

The GP4000s and GP4 Seasons are basically the same tyre just the 4 Seasons has extra puncture protection so punctures should in theory be less of a problem.

Just moved a pair of 23mm Gatorskins from No.1 to No.2 bike after 2800 miles and 4 flats, caused by bits of flints. The front had hardly worn at all, and both had just a few tiny cuts from flints which close up nicely with a bit of superglue
Now got a folding Gatorskin on front and folding Durano Plus on the back of No.1 bike, I want to see how good the Durano Plus is and whether the extra expense is recouped by not buying any more tubes:thumbsup:
Never had trouble in the wet with Gators, but then I wouldn't push my luck in the wet anyway:rain:

Anyone been using Durano Pluses?
