All conti tyres are banned from our family stable.
They are just too hard to get on and off.

Tell me what rims you use that I may ban them from my stable. Wherein Conti's slide on and off as a knife through butter. All conti tyres are banned from our family stable.

i use GP4000s find them good stable tyre and have done 3000miles on my set so far only have few cuts and holes on them but only 3 air escapes to date and plenty tread left will prob do me into new year when i will prob buy a new set though at £30 odd each they are a tad pricey!

yea if ky ou get lucky with a sale but agree i had stock spesh all condition on my prevs bike did well ( lasted 2k miles) and then made the switch when i totaled it 3 mnths back i swapped the stock tyres on my caad8 instantly as trust gp4000s alot! might swap to seasons for the winter would this make much difference? ( had Schwalbe Lugano, 700X23C anyone used these?)They can be had sub-£30 They are relatively expensive, but not unduly.
The GP4000s and GP4 Seasons are basically the same tyre just the 4 Seasons has extra puncture protection so punctures should in theory be less of a problem.yea if ky ou get lucky with a sale but agree i had stock spesh all condition on my prevs bike did well ( lasted 2k miles) and then made the switch when i totaled it 3 mnths back i swapped the stock tyres on my caad8 instantly as trust gp4000s alot! might swap to seasons for the winter would this make much difference?
