Contact lens wearers

Losing a lens has happened to me a couple of times.
I always have spares with me on a cycle ride now.

coff coff- I'm alright on those fronts - never far enough from home these days

though have carried glasses with me sometimes for the old days of longer rides.

Generally I don't think my vision is quite as crisp with contacts but it is blurred. The only problem I've had is the occasional drop of sweat which is uncomfortable for a moment. The helmet pads are normally effective in reducing/ avoiding this but in heavy rain they are not that good. I've never lost a lens though.

Just a question back on topic - do any of you guys carry lens solution out on a ride -I'm contemplating it as the eyes get so dry- especially in summer with pollen irritation!

It's amazing the amount of stuff one can carry in jersey pockets and saddlebags
