I have the Hed tri spoke and disc rear wheel on my TT bike. They ride well and look good. But as some others have said they won't really suit a road bike. But on the other hand, if you like them and have the cash, go for it mate.

There are options out there for "cheaper" lightweight wheelsets that look nice. Superstar components for example, ok I'm biased I just bought some, 1500g ish for £156. But hey, if you want the real expensive stuff, knock yourself out.

I only ride my bike to the pub and back on sunny weekends so they must be able to cope with someone riding around whilst :hyper:.

Actually I do casual cycling but I do tend to go like hell every now and then. I am thinking about trying out club riding aswell when I get the chance. No practical purpose for wanting new wheels. Just feeling spending some disposable cash on something I will enjoy. I really love the look of racy wheels.

For those interested heres a pic of my :bicycle::

My one has black bar tape tho. Do you think they will look ridiculous on that?

Just buy some Fulcrum Quattros - of ir you're feeling flush, some RS81 C35s - or if your feeling really flush, some DA C35s.

I have no experience as yet as I haven't fitted mine and won't untill after next Thursday.
In mountain bike circles their wheels are highly regarded, road wheesets are only a relatively recent addition to their range I think (last few years).
To me they just represented good "bang for buck" time will tell!

Because people don't give a shoot about PX wheels and don't want to race with the good Zipps ?

Because I think that there is an acceptance that light, aero wheels can certainly be beneficial - but it doesn't really matter which logo is on the side. The guys on the Zipps might have spent more, but they ain't going any faster for it, as far as I can tell.
