A lovely easy ride along a dismantled railway track alongside the River Lune Estuary and then river channel.

Took my 10 year old grandson who enjoyed it as much as I did. Had a very welcome hot chocolate at the Crook o' Lune cafe cabin.

Can't remember the distance there and back returning to the car park at Condor Green near Glasson Dock.

Great ride Fred, done it with Mrs Gti and Gti junior a few times. That cafe at the Glasson Dock end is nice too. Bikehike gives 4.4 miles from the car park by the cafe to the main west coast railway bridge in Lancaster.

I wouldn't recommend the cycle track from Lancaster out to Morecambe though; it goes through some distinctly "iffy" areas, I've read about an attempted cycle mugging there and there's lots of broken glass.
