Commuting daily on a bike - what are you main problems / biggest bug bearers?

What are my biggest problems.....

Feeling tired
Hills (well the uphill part)
Ice/wet leaves/oil I hate slippery surfaces
Motorists distracted in their cars by mobiles etc
People not being nice to each other

Hills are fun , you need to embrace the pain .

Cars that overtake you to take a left turn and you nearly or do run into them.
Pedestrian's that step out onto the road in front of you without looking and then give you a dirty look. Pricks!

I love cycle commuting but the worst problems are:

Road surface - I commute in a rural setting and as was said upthread, it's APPALLING;

Bad driving which essentially boils down to impatience, carelessness and lack of empathy for cyclists.

There are other little niggles but those are the heart-sinkers.

Motorists slowly edging out of side junctions as you are approaching/cycling past.

I use them when I'm expecting ice, I only used them a few times as it was fairly mild, but I've used them more in other years.
