Hi all,

My niece rides a 24" wheeled fully rigid old Giant Ali mtb and its pretty spot on for her on/off road fun riding and she's up for riding to school (with escort) but its not got guards or a rack or anything really. It has fittings for front and back guards/racks but I don't know where to find any the right size for her to carry loads ect.

Anyone out there sorted one out?

Just stick a 26" MTB rack on.

It will stand a bit taller but it's got to take panniers anyway, lots of bodging room with pannier racks.

Guards again can be 26" ones trimmed down to fit.

sweet re rack, its the guards that I'm not sure about, because they will have a very shallow angle compared to the wheel, so won't fit close enough to stop all the crud :s

Neah it will be fine, there is not a huge radius difference between the two and MTB guards can be gappy anyway as they have plenty of clearance at the frame.
