Commute / bike scheme back into biking bike

Hello forumites. So - not been on a bike for about 15 years. Now only have 3 miles to commute, in a town full of cycle paths. Plan to do this route in work clothes, mostly as I'm a lazy ****er. The work has a bike scheme on, have narrowed down to a few but really no idea what's best. I'm leaning towards the CB purely as it comes with mudguards

I had an FCR 3 - my vote is the Rapid 3 because mine was great !

I think any of them would do nicely. Without having ridden them, I would guess that the cb is a touch heavier, but with more relaxed/comfortable ride, the others a bit more sporty. But I don't think you'd go far wrong with any of them - I'd suggest looking at them in the shop, get a test-ride if you can or at least sit on them, and see which you like the best - they all look like good value to me.

Yeh u really need to try them out. What looks good on paper or the web so often is not the bike for you.

Of those, id have the rapid for a 3 mile blast, but then again i didnt get one when i could!

If youre buying on spec without a test ride, get the sirrus sport as its cheapest. Good bike.
