I might be imagining it, as I'm only an occasional viewer, but I get the feeling it's gone the same way as most reality shows - starting out as a fairly interesting experiment and ending up as an engineered conflict, played for pure Schadenfreude. And I'm sure the cooking has got worse and worse...
Would be my take on it, Jane watches them so I get caught with the odd one and, just recently, it feels more like watching a freak show. I mean a 'competitive' dinner party show that features fussy eaters as contestants? Plus I don't ever plan on having a dinner party where the guests are welcome to root around my home. I expect the whole concept will continue to try and get more shocking, maybe an adult version at some point, just to try and wring the last dregs out of an idea.
