Black french press coffee, no sugar. Preferably roasted & ground on the same day. Absolutely lovely.

Instant is f*cking disgusting and requires masking with milk and sugar.

A man after my own heart. Instant is OK as long as you don't actually drink it! If tied down and a funnel forced down my throat I can just about suffer Nescafe Blend 37 .

Two choices this morning either Pumphreys excellent French blend

Or
The Choccy coffee mentioned yesterday. A large shot of espresso, one teaspoon of freshly prepared vanilla sugar and a dash of hot milk. This mixture is then whisked with one of those little electric whisks until light and frothy. The mixture is then poured with great panache into a glass with a Galaxy ripple in the bottom. Your more than welcome but it would be nice if you washed the glass afterwards.

Started young, and still going.

Barnet,
I bought a jar of Nescafe Parisien blend. What a disappointment. It is fairly tasteless, but does have the dark colour of french coffee. I will stick to my lavazza Italian coffee and cafetiere in the future.
