kimz do you have a pump with a guage on it? If you don't, there's a mini one on offer in argos at the moment for £4.99. You'll need to reserve it and pick it up from west quay, although there may be ones available in totton.

It helps to have one, to ensure your tyres are pumped up properly, although you can do this with a regular pump, it's just good to know they're properly pumped up.

Properly pumped up tyres should make it easier for you to cycle. Also ensure your seat is raised high enough as this will also affect how fast you can go.

you trying to say im slow  LOL ;):ohmy: that was ajoke i am slow

i did have a look last night and was looking at the rides and noticed you do some through the forest can i pick up the ride part way and drop off when on way back kinda thing i know the baddesley arms but i will have trouble getting there as dont drive

but may be able to meet somewhere along the way when you do forest rides etc see how i get on ,

your clud seems to cater for all so would be better suited to me than most
will also have to see if i can get off work lunch time sunday

It wouldn't be that easy to pick up a club run in the forest as apart from where the tea stop is exact routes are decided at the start, you could always peel off for home on the way back of course. Where do you actually live? If you come via Eling wharf, test lane, hoe lane, baddesley is only about 15 miles from beaulieu for instance. By not returning to the start you'd still only be doing the normal sort of milage.
