Ditto here. One on hill, though that was more I couldn't rotate the pedals quick enough, next time I am on a hill I will go back to bottom and start again.

What's to resist? Is someone trying to swap your pedals without permission?

It's years since I tried toe clips. Never tried clipless. Can't see any point. I'm not racing. Neverhad a zero mph fall. Had enough other silly falls tyvm. About one every 3-5 years maybe.

Of course not....lol. I just sometimes feel that it's almost expected of anyone who puts in a fair few miles that they will be on clipless.

I am perfectly happy with flatties.

Nah, it's just the usual mob urination contest. Three of us did 65+ miles today, all on flats (one rubber, two pins, I think).

I fell off in the garden testing them out! I had my foot resting on a bench with an ordinary trainer on, and clipped in on the right, bench under my left foot. Bench gave way, over I went.
