those shoes get poor reviews - at £30 it doesn't surprise me - the production cost must be in the range of £5 - £7!

Or tiled kitchen floors ... I recently switched my Cannondale back to Look Delta pedals but I had forgotten how slippery the cleats are on such surfaces. The first time that I tried to stand up with my Sidi+Looks on, both feet slid from under me and dumped me down on my coccyx, which was not exactly a pleasant experience!

The first thing I do now when I get home from a ride is to put cleat covers on, even before I dismount. I leave them on the shoes until my GPS is locking onto satellites immediately before the next ride and only then take them off.

The reviews on wiggle looked ok.

click on 'lowest first' and then start reading. We all know that many people review items after opening the box or after 1-2 rides. If you look at the poor reviews first you will see a number of common and serious faults that keep getting mentioned

The covers are nice and grippy on tiled floors, they're even good on wet cobbles. Well worth the outlay.
