What is that? Guessing the tracks are used for extra traction, or is it some kind of ultra low tracked remote unit that detaches?
I do wonder...I mentioned up post re landrovers, at that time it was part of a geological survey looking for coal fields in the Vale of Belvoir. We used explosives to send shock waves through the ground, geophones (recievers) to pick up the returning shock waves, which were collected by a Bedford 4WD truck with computers to interpret the results. What is that? Bit pointless posting in a way but saw a lovely Leyland ( probably) Matador tipper truck trundling along Weymouth seafront this week, no livery, just a cream colour, good looking condition from the distance I was looking at it.
