They're not going to work with SRAM Apex, and if they do happen to replace the crosstop levers, your main hood braking will be dangerously redundant

Excuse my ignorance, but if the hydraulic part works from a reservoir barrel midway along the cable, then would it not be that as long at the cable end will fit into the brake levers - even SRAM Apex ones - then the system would be compatible?

No it's a closed system with the reservoir atop the levers. There is no compatability with standard cable actuated brakes or Apex levers

In order to run hydraulic calipers with cable levers you're looking at TRP HY/RD @ £90 each! or Hope V-Twin about £220 for the kit
