So the grease got washed out by water .. Didn't know that grease was water soluble .. Must be a new Chinese invention.

If you saw how they throw bikes and wheels together in factories you would understand how they sometimes don't get the full compliment of grease.

Test for everything nowadays. Lot of disclaimers in there and it's only conducted in a laboratory not in the real world. Grease probably made of whale blubber or similar. Once it's out the factory it's someone else's problem.
