I'd never heard of her until I saw a re-run of Father Ted about 3 years ago. She was in that episode as a feminist pop star, and she looked very attractive in her tight PVC trousers.

In fairness looked a bit like her when she was in altered images in the 80s. Now she is an emaciated stick I bear no resemblance whatsoever...

Anyway, she was pretty aggressive and shoved her face in Phil's and in the most Gorbals accent I've ever heard, asked, "and whit the fahkkin hell d'ye caw that thang?" about his hair. The scar on her cheek which is now almost invisible was vivid red and gave her a hard appearance which she certainly played up to!

Hilarious. Considering their twee, saccharine filled, nauseatingly sweet pop records that they churned out.

What have I started here? I admit to a serious liking of the gorgeous Claire Grogan (which I know Papercorn2000 shares) and everyone here seems to fancy her too (apart from Kirstie but she looks like her....fantastic!!) and PC2K hasn't even bothered to reply. He is either on holiday or still looking at the pictures in the weekend's Scottish papers....which were quite frankly wonderful!!
