Back in midsummer I noticed our village Christmas tree still on its stand beside the bus stop.
It's still there.

They were preparing to put up the Christmas tree in the local village green this afternoon

I've already been in Aldi to see what their Christmas special food and drink selection looks like

I am not sure when they went up, but since last Monday, a pub on my commute has had Christmas lights on when I have passed at silly o clock in the morning.
Also spotted a house with what I suspect are the first of many lights they intend to drape their house with.

Not decorations, but on the way home tonight someone had Fairytale of New York blasting out of their car stereo. Cracking Christmas song, but come on it's still only bleeding November.
