Ich bin Powerfrau!
Just walked the dog - it's too cold out there with a biting east wind to do a ride. Instead I shall have a nice warm shower and a cup of tea and relax!

Yes I can, Yes I am, Yes I did...Repeat.
I wanted to go but after a late night doing the Santa thing and a few to many ports I slept late and have no time before the main event kicks off...I'll go tomorrow...I went yesterday so I'm feeling ok about binging and boozing a bit this year...I reckon it'll take 4 or 5 rides to burn it all off...no big deal...I was going to do them anyway:biggrin:

Had a nice 25 mile meander around part of the Wirral peninsula. And I am now waiting for my daughter to finish cooking the Christmas dinner. Merry Christmas to you all!

I went out for a blast. Did 14miles in 46mins. Nice ride, not that much traffic out, but still more cars then what i would of thought. Lovely ride on the fixed, big smile on my face. Coming back through Burton Joyce there was a fire engine powering through the other way.
Went out while my ipod was charging, got back and when i had got changed it was fully charged:becool:
Would be better if it was warmer, but never mind. The wind was blowing me home aswell:becool:
Now its time to start eating for the TT tomorrow:laugh:

50 miles this morning, down to Lanark and via mostly back roads and lanes. 2800 calories burnt according to my bike computer so I can now go and stuff my face at the in-laws this afternoon:biggrin::biggrin:

Merry Christmas to one and all

Just off to the ex inlaws, bike packed up ready to go then discovered rear light was missing so no ride for me now today. Was looking forward to getting back on bike after about 6 weeks break

I went for a quick hilly 30 miles; I wanted to get back to see the nephews and neices must be a good motivation factor, it was 16.5 mph average.

Edit: I had new Santini bib longs, Giordana base layer and Polaris merino sock and a new ATC 5K, so I had to try them out.

I was very tempted to go out today, but had to go to the parents. Took the car as how else would I get all my presents home! Checked the weather forecast and it is looking good for the next few days so I'll definitely be going out, hopefully tomorrow but definitely Saturday. I've got 99 miles to do before the end of the year!

I am, it's already Christmas morning here and I'm just having a cuppa followed by a bowl of porridge before going out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You must be about the only person in Vietnam to eat porridge!

I went for a nice 28 mile ride this afternoon. There was actually some blue sky and sun when I started so it was a fabulous winter's day, but it got pretty cold later on as the sun started to go down.

Went out for about 20 miles. It wasn't really that quiet at all, the dual carriageways although not choked with traffic were certainly similar levels of day time traffic to any other day (fairly busy). Villages were good. More importantly there wasn't anybody driving like an idiot and I got the fastest ride of the year 14.8mph (not over the whole ride).

I cycled to parents yesterday i have never left the house on christmas day before and i was actually suprised at how busy the roads were, quite dodgy driving too, saw one other person cycling and waved of course so that was nice. im going back home in an hour to feed the damn cats and back to mums for tea again so nice round trip for me.
