I am, it's already Christmas morning here and I'm just having a cuppa followed by a bowl of porridge before going out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guaranteed. Santa is leaving my 10 year old a shiny new Trek mountain bike which I know he will be desperate to ride.

Possibly...I went out today..erm..yesterday...and toninght looks like a late one...might go boxing day instead.

Santa decided it was too hot for the full Santa suit so he donned his lycra bib shorts and burundy polo shirt (His tropical kit), packed a bag of candy and mounted his trusty steed and off he went. It was a nice 25km ride but his arm is falling off from waving too much and his throat sore from all that Ho Ho Ho-ing! Now he is relaxing at home with a nice cup of tea. Have a very Merry Christmas.

I have a quiet and empty house, once I rise I have all morning to gently fettle the racer, clean and re lube all the bearings, drive train, gears and tighten things before cycling to visit friends throughout the afternoon and evening bearing good tidings and helping them with all their leftovers.

I'm taking advantage of the quiet roads, unfortunately by driving to Surrey to have Xmas dinner with Ms RT's family. I'd rather have had a quiet one at home this year, but there we go.

No ride here - might sneak out tomorrow am before we go to my folks for a meal in the afternoon - wife was out at the gym yesterday, I had the kids. Cooking and entertaining today - might see my bikes when I go and fetch my beers from the garage !!!

Cycled back from the Midnight service at 12:30am this morning, dodging the drunks in Colchester as I whizzed down East Hill at 25mph. So technically that was cycling today but I want to go out for a little spin some time, but we've got to walk the dog first and then arrange it around putting the roast on and meeting the neighbours at the pub.

Just done 22 miles around Stanford Res, Leicestershire, lovely quiet morning, surprising number of cyclists and dog walkers out already, xmas dinner next !!
