Chris Moyles has not been paid!

Now I missed this - I regard listening to Mr. Moyles as a kind of cruel and unusual punishment - but it does look like I missed a corker. Did anybody hear this?

If he was paid what I think he's actually worth, he'd end up having to pay them. They'd have to invent another category for him as he is beyond useless.

I heard it and he wasn't a happy bunny this morning

Was quite entertaining really,thought for a minute it was leading up to an on air resignation,then Sheridan Smith came in and his mood improved somewhat

Just played his rant on Channel 4 news. Said he hadn't been paid since July, was very angry and what's the point of coming in to work if you don't get paid

apparently he's on £650,000 a year for the Radio 1 slot. Two month's wages comes to about a hundred thousand. No wonder he's having to sleep on a friends couch.

Should he go? Please don't let your answer to this be coloured by any thoughts of Chris Moyles being a self-important, over-inflated, overpaid, talentless schmuck.

He's having to sleep on a friends couch because he's just split up from his long term girlfriend.

I actually like the bloke, he has as much right to be annoyed at not getting paid as anyone else tbh.

+1 that and the occasional bit of scott mills.

It's good radio, ok he doesn't play many songs, but who cares, what he says is actually funny, and he just says what anyone else would be thinking.

listen - if I hadn't been paid by my employer I wouldn't take it upon myself to waste half an hour of however many millions of people's time with it - far less spend half an hour recounting that which could be summarised in twenty seconds. He's in BECTU (or should be). Let them deal with it.

Apparently raised it last month but still wasn't sorted in time,he went so far as to say he knew who's fault it was and was less than complimentary about them

tbf, he always spends the first half hour of his show talking, either with the team or ranting. It just so happened that it was a major rant this morning. The article made it sound wrong.

Is he in BECTU? Do presenters hve their own organsiastion they can be affiliated to? BECTU used to take around 1% of your wages as union fees when I was a member. I'm not complaining about the rate, more curious about whether it's staggered for higher earners. I expect he can afford a decent lawyer and doesn't need to rely on union representation. I've no problem with his pay, going rate etc. I listen to him most days. I have a bigger problem with the money spent making prime time TV tosh but that's my personal opinion and a lot of people seem to watch the programming I hate.
