Choosing suitable routes to ride

The best one I have used is ride with gps and it lets you export at tcx file, @Nigelnaturist has bundles of rides on there if you like hills!

Thanks, I know most of the roads around here up to about 125sq miles, which covers most of what I am likely to do in a days ride, I have been using rwgps since last Oct to export rides to my garmin 500. Most of the time these days I can just make up a ride ad-hoc depending how I feel, yesterday, I went and covered a few roads I haven't done, then later to finish the Eddy MercKx's challenge I went and did this, and made it up as I went along.
