I believe while we think £285 a frame is cheap they are going to get much cheaper. Over time only dinosaurs will ride steel frames and perhaps even fewer will ride alu frames - not unlike how digital cameras have pretty much wiped out film cameras.
Since even big name carbon frames fail regularly, and no statistics evidently are available on such failures, when cheap unbranded Chinese imports start to fail what if any conclusion can be drawn?
