Why is it that when a top team fails to win against one of the unfashionable clubs, they panic like mad and start issuing P45s?

Well done Tigers! I look forward to Benitez's sacking in April.

Now that would be funny . Could have Southgate out the door the week before as well

My favorite moment on this subject so far though is Arsne Wenger at the Emirates squatting on the touchline with is head in his hands on the back of a Tigers mauling.

Chelsea are lucky to be 4th and it's hardly Scolari's fault, in my opinion.

They don't have a striker worth a damn this season, their other forward players are rubbish (Kalou and Malouda), Joe Cole's injured, Deco's been ineffective, Ballack stroles around like a fancy dan and contributes nothing, Mikel is no Makalele and never will be, defensively they've gone to pot and if Cech's still the best goalkeeper in the world then I'm a Dutchman...

Quite right.

Zola is in an ideal place as a rookie manager, with a team who regard a season without being involved in a relegation dogfight as good and a cup run as excellent. He is doing well at West Ham, not too much pressure and his methods are working for the club. At Chelsea the pressure would be enormous, and unless he won at least the title probably short lived.

Actually, I'd be more worried about Steve Clarke leaving than Zola. We've been much more solid since he started doing the coaching, and Chelsea's slide co-incided with him leaving.

Could tie in with he rumours that senior Chelsea players had been complaining about the training not being intense enough.

and Liverpool stumble, I can see the Villains getting runners-up spot.

And next season ....................

Not gonna happen we have had our blip thank you ;-)

Anyway don't worry I hear Kleenex are shipping a double order to Brum to cope with all the nosebleeds.

Is that what you meant?

Yes, you're right - just till the end of the season.

Then probably Ancelotti who's contract at Milan expires at the end of the season also.

Apparently Abramovitch had a meeting with

Cech
Ballack
Drogba

and they said that Scolari was no good. Lampard and Terry supported Scolari.

Well, without wanting to come across as a little englander, Lampard and Terry have been striving ceaselessy and Ballack and Drogba have been mincing about trying not to get their shorts dirty.
